Southwestern-Style Pork Fajitas with Tomato Lime Salsa, Lime Crema and Cheddar CheeseFamily Meal - Serves 4 - Ready in 35 Minutes We decided to prepare this recipe for Taco Tuesday (well Fajita Tuesday if you want to be specific). The kids love fajitas and it isn't hard to get them to clear their plates when we have it for dinner. Once again, I was impressed with the fresh quality of the ingredients in the bag. Similar to the chicken breasts, the ground pork was raised without antibiotics, added hormones or animal by-products. The vegetables were ripe, and the red onion arrived pre-sliced which made me very happy, as I could avoid onion tears.
I felt as though this recipe was easier to execute than our first recipe. Definitely something that could be whipped up quickly on a weeknight, or for a family activity where the kids can help out in the kitchen. Unlike the Almond-Crusted Chicken, I was on target with HelloFresh's allocated time. From start to finish it took me roughly 35-40 minutes, which is great and made my hungry family happy too. Final Thoughts
Our final recipe in this box is the BBQ Beef Meatballs with Smashed Potatoes and Broccoli. That is coming up on Wednesday with my final thoughts on the Hello Fresh service itself.
